Would you be "weak minded" if you learned from him and from the experience that life is far from perfect, and carry on living a life you know he would be proud of? Or would you be "weak minded" if you ran to the traffic bureau (or whatever is head of traffic in your country) and complained to them. Imagine if your father was unfortunate to encounter some guy who misinterpreted the traffic lights, and your father passed away in an accident (heaven forbid). How is it weak minded to accept the cards you're dealt and carry on? LOL is just a game, let's talk real world examples. My entire comment was based on the assumption that promo-players try harder and perform better than normal ones, which I agree with you on.ģ. I'm not sure how well you understand the word, but I was just telling you that you would be approximately 1.25 times more likely to get an AFK/troll on the enemy team rather than yours, assuming you're not one yourself.Ģ. I never said you could never get a troll or AFK, I admitted it all came down to probability. Low-priority queue happens before you actually queue, its a different timer, if your actual queue timer is at 65 minutes youre in a bugged queue that will never complete so youll have to leave it and re-queue, which means waiting through your LPQ again. I would assume you're just going through tilt right now and mad at everyone who defends the system, if you would read my comment again:ġ. This is a subreddit devoted to the game League of Legends. It feels like they're scrutinizing their whole team, which of course will make them find more mistakes. I actually have played with people on losing streaks (I don't really notice when I'm on one, too focused on my own performance.) They really do complain a lot more, even about things that might happen in any possible game. This would put an end to this discussion instead of a constant "It kinda feels like I'm an on island sometimes, everyone on my team is an idiot." It has a fairly extensive match history, so just find the game you guys were in together, and look at their previous games. Plus, of course, the 100 chance you get to play exactly what you had in mind playing right now. When you're on a losing streak, just go to op.gg and check out your teammates and enemies if you feel like you're on an island. If you go into queue solo, chances are pretty high that you get placed with a 4-man premade and in my experience that can be way more problematic in normal draft than in team builder, hence my switch for now. If we want to search the plausibility of losing streak island, why don't we conduct a study instead of only using anecdotal evidence which is tainted by negativity bias. There is something called Negativity Bias, where essentially you prefer to remember the negatives of something, and not the positives.
